tx2.....what strength magnets have you tried that didn't hold in a light breeze? Been thinking of trying some that are supposed to hold 50-80 lb. I have some rated for 10 lb but I know they won't hold in much of a breeze.

I have one very similar to yours that I have had for years. Traded a nice aluminum tool box that sits on top of the truck bed rails for it. Have been thinking about adding a carrier to my van and put that on it. Mostly for automotive fluids, jack, straps, funnels, shovel, etc.

Personally, I don't think that would be a problem. Not a pre-arranged agreement in that case.

I bought one of the pads that I used at Crater of Diamonds in Arkansas. Just remembered that I had it. Definitely are knee savers.

The term just came to me. Ensolite sleeping pad. Like Q said....closed cell foam. Same stuff probably in the gardener's kneeling pad.

travelaround.....it is lightweight foam type pad that can be put under a sleeping bag. Does not absorb water. Kind I used is green and I bought at Walmart. 7/16" thick I believe.

I use some left over pieces of camping pad when I need to put my knees on the floor. One is right at the side door to kneel on when I don't want to climb in and bend over to get something I can't reach from the outside. Can double if needed but one makes all the difference.

Yeah, but.....I'm still LOL at the comment of the overturned Hostess truck. Sometimes words just pop out. You did ask forgiveness though. I had a heater core issue in my 93 Chev. van. Ridiculous what has to be done to change out something that "could" be so simple.

I'm tied down to local area until first of the year. Otherwise I wouldn't mind joining up for rest of the way from TX. when you come through. I'm ready to head back west too.

Nah, the computer can tell you how to do it. Just power it up. LOL :)
