    97 dollar generator?

I forgot to mention, after not using it for a few months, I did have to pull the cord 15 or 20 times, I took the spark plug out, poured gas into the plug hole, then replaced plug. It fired right up...I also cleaned the plug a few times.

so how much do you pay

Earlier this spring with gas at an all time high of 1.30 per liter. I tried to spend as little as possible. I had abunch of stitches around my hip, and I was using a walker. The only time I left the motorhome was to walk the dog. I parked 2 weeks earlier at my sisters, when my incision needed...

    97 dollar generator?

I read the instructions, then asked a clerk about the warranty, 1 month bring it back ,replacement or your money back. She showed me where it was written. Also the makers of it...

Thanks for the info. I am sure glad I added the insulation. My hotwater tank has been drained, along with everything else. I use 6 gallon water jugs for every day water. I can walk to everything I need. My hip is recovering good. My dog really enjoys the snow, he is 10 but he acts like a pup in...

Not Waiting for the SHTF: Canvas tent ?

an excellent idea to build your own... ive been searching the web for a garage tent. I found some for 5k, the trouble I would have is taking it down in the spring, and setting it up again in the winter. My home on wheels is 28ft long, and the door would have to be 12ft high. It would be hard...

    hello, I'm from the Maritimes,Canada

Hi, thanks for that info; I was many years on the lower mainland of bc. I didn't care for it too much, it seemed the closer you got to the ocean the ruder people became. I spent 6 winters on vancouver island, yes the rain got to me. I got tired of my dog being wet so often. As I'm getting older...

    First trip, First night

I found that ear plugs help a lot. I was nervous when I went to mexico many moons ago. I slept with my clothes on the first few nights. The dogs barking kept me awake also. 22 years later, I sleep excellent now, my dog wakes me up on occasion. Relax, enjoy.

    hello, I'm from the Maritimes,Canada

Canada eh, thanks for the welcome. I have stopped using the walker now, so it is a lot better getting around. I was thinking of parking in a shed for the rest of the winter, a shed with a wood stove. I have insulated the motorhome so that helps. This is a nice group of people here. I am still...

70s era RVs - opinions, experience, advice?

I have an older, 1990 classC motorhome. I knew it will need repairs in the future. In Canada, it is easy to get them repaired, fords are everywhere. It seems older class A's are not as plentiful. Plus, i have more room under the hood. I take the "dog house" off and on myself. So Im not paying an...

    hello, I'm from the Maritimes,Canada

thanks for the welcome! I have lived on the west coast, and the east coast. The east coast is cooler, but a bit dryer then the west coast. I share my portable home with my best friend, Dakota, a 10 year old border collie. Well, I best take the little guy for a walk. We'll talk again, bye.

    hello, I'm from the Maritimes,Canada

I have been living off the grid, in different motorhomes, for 22 years now. I am on my third HOME ON WHEELS. I am recovering from a hip operation, so I chose to plug in to electricity for a while. I have to use a walker for a few months. So stopping for gas was a nightmare. We get a lot of rain...
