    Glandex for Dogs

Mine is 15, and has been on Cosequin about 1 1/2 years. It is has made a huge difference in her mobility and comfort level. The human version also good for us peeps.

Slightly off topic, but related, Cosequin Glucosamine Chondroitin is also an excellent supplement for aging dogs.

Remote Work in 2025 and Beyond

Sorry to hear that, maki2. Every time I go to the grocery store, prices for everyday items has risen. And then there’s this visceral fear that we are hurtling toward a cliff we can’t see, and we don’t know how steep the drop is nor what’s at the bottom. People may be hunkering down to some...

Remote Work in 2025 and Beyond

The article linked says those targeted have “national security clearances”. “Russia and China are focusing their efforts on recently fired employees with security clearances and probationary employees at risk of being terminated”. Did you even read it, or just scan it to fuel your morning rant...

    Hello, World!

I have, in the UP some years back, during the night, when some foolish people left a cooler outside that had bacon in it. We were awakened by a ruckus, then a dog barking, and the next morning we’re told these campers heard a noise outside, opened their tent flap to be confronted by a large...

    Hello, World!

So that’s not an SUV tent at the back of your van, correct, you’ve just set up a tent at the rear? My concern, for myself, would be how easy it would be to do this kind of set up alone, doing the widow-traveler thing.

Membership here is actually $29.99/year, and while everyone who uses this forum regularly could and perhaps should have a membership, many can’t afford that, and I don’t believe non-members should be devalued in any way.

    Parking a 21 or 22 footer.

I had a class B for 17+ years, and wouldn’t have anything else. So easy to get around in, and pretty much a “park anywhere” rig. Two adults and a 65lb dog, but we loved it, then just me and the dog for another 125,000 or so miles. I had an 06 and then an 07, the latter sold last year to a...

    Hello, World!

Welcome, and you have an SUV tent, it looks like? How do you like it? I almost bought one of these, was discouraged from taking my dog into bear country in anything soft sided like this so I did not. I am rig-less as of last year, in part because of the 15 year old dog, but depending on how...

Cold weather parking in an HOA in Ocala, FL

And if you’ve used it, not only empty your tanks but open your low point drains. Unless you get a really hard freeze, which you will know is coming, you should be safe.

I recommend keeping a watch on temperatures and running heat in your van if temps are going to drop below freezing. The other and more practical option is keeping your holding tanks and water lines empty during the winter, unless you are traveling in it.

Certainly OT, but the topic of some posters not becoming “members” needed to be responded to. 🙄 I think we could help preserve the intent of this forum by responding to threads, particularly from newbies, asking for information and feedback, or whatever else has interested them. Which many...

    I'm out

I don’t think this kind of contemptuous rhetoric is helpful, kind, supportive, encouraging, etc., to new or old members here, and is disconnected from the reality that the fees for membership here may be more than some can afford. Or want to pay, for whatever reason. “VLF Supporting Membership...
