    Japanese Electric Lunchbox

Um... yes. 300w consumption for 40 minutes is 200wh of power. Just saying an item that consumes 180w for 40 minutes would be ~120 WH of consumption which is less...

    Japanese Electric Lunchbox

Unsoaked beans are not really what it is designed for. It's built for small, single serving meals with sub-1h cook times. Now soaked beans mixed into rice or your main, it would be fine. This on the otherhand is its ideal work case. It would use about 120 wh of power.

    Japanese Electric Lunchbox

Kill-A-Watt averages ~180w. It starts low, building up to to about 300w over a minute, and then starts to dip down leveling out at ~180w by the second minute.

    What's for dinner?

Nothing so fancy here. I have a Japanese Electric Lunchbox I use for lightweight single meal cooking and I pre-pack the actual meal fixings so I can just dump and add water... and I might just say to hell with it and add a couple ice cubes in so I don't have to add water :p

    What's for dinner?

Japanese Curry. 1 small block of curry roux, 1 boneless skinless thigh, 1 small handful of diced carrot, 1 small handful of diced onion, one small handful of diced potato, and a little bit of water. Let heat, serve on rice. Yum.

    Japanese Electric Lunchbox

Don't have access to a Kill-a-watt sadly. Though I do use this little thing regularly. Makes a mean chicken curry. A lot. This thing can do rice but it's designed to do entire meals. The three layer like I got has three containers. One 200ml, one 1000ml, and one 700ml. The 200ml nests inside...

    Japanese Electric Lunchbox

Just picked up one of these. It's a strange little thing but its small and uses a relatively low amount of power (200W) meaning it won't kill a battery. One I picked up was the double decker. It can cook two to three separate items at once, depending on if you use the second level and the thing...

    TF49 Fridge

https://www.truckfridge.com/product/tf49-tridge/ About how do you think this fridge rates compared to other options? *note* Turns out the place I was looking at due to the price seems to be illegitimate.

    More solar. Less battery.

It's also likely to be more poorly made and has a non-zero chance of damaging your equipment. DO. NOT. DO. IT.

    More solar. Less battery.

Do not downgrade a laptop power supply. It'll still try and draw that 170w at full load and burn the thing out and possibly damage your system. As for the 170w, it does not draw 170w constant, only when at full load.

    Solar Powered Water Heater

Excessive. You can make an effective, probably more effective passive solar water heater using PVA drain pipe, plumbing fittings, PVA glue, and a water sprayer that is not only 100% passively powered, but would probably be more effective than this. And if you need indoor, well... work...

DIY Portable Roof Mount Hot Water Tank

Saw these videos and decided to share because they were pretty cool. One other thing I thought was most hand sprayers are rated at about 40-60 PSI and these tanks have a capacity of about 4ish gallons, which is about the rating of one of those tanks. Build in a hand sprayer pump and you can...

    Replace sprayer wand w/flex hose?

There's a lot of videos on youtube about it.

    Hot vs cold

For heating, a Chinese diesel heater might be good for you if you have onboard power. As for cooling... two important questions. How dry and what's your accessibility to water? If you can get regular access to water and have a dry environment you might want to consider an evaporative cooler.
