What would be the best neighborhood(s) in Slab City for me and my two daughters (18 and 21yo) and our dog to spend one night?  We are looking for some place that's relatively quiet and safe.

Is it realistically possible to install a diesel heater so that you absolutely cannot hear the fuel pump?

Looks really nice. I'm not sure I could sleep on the 5'8" bed even if I were 5'10", but I'm a little over 6'2" and a sideways bed won't work. It sure makes it easier to have a roomier setup.
