Here is the finish I'm considering.

Yes I intend to give the wood a finish once I get to AZ. It's too cold now in MN to do it. I'm considering a mixture of dark stain on framing portions and a previously used paint technique. I'll provide a picture under another post.

What or who is HDR? I think I used a total of 4 2x4s. I didn't think that was too bad. Build is done but will need to stain it paint when I get to the SW. Too cold in MN now.

@tx2sturgis: That's a lot of 2x4! I was trying to calculate weight I've added. Think it will be easier to have it weighed.

Looking for recommendation for paintable caulk, to fill gaps from new van build. Darn curved walls.  :dodgy:

My neighbors ladies and I made a lot of progress today. Base floor in, bed built, two shelves under bed, furring strips in and some reflectix done.Ceiling piece cut and ready to go.

Can anyone tell me does the polystyrene need to seal entirely against the van wall or is it okay to have air gaps? In planning to seal the edges with foam insulation and then install reflectix over that.  Thanks in advance.

Took the partition out to enlarge space as it is only a 118 WB. Tough choice for sure.

Finally got my baby home and started the conversion by removing the divider between the cab and cargo bay. What a difference!

Not familiar with how tos of message board so not sure if this is correct way to give updates.  Purchased 2017 Promaster 1500 118 with 49k miles.  Pending delivery Mo day as dealer has to remove decals and clean it up. But here is photo for now.  I'm busy drawing plans for layout..
