Hoping to make it but I don't use FB so is there some other way of receiving the location specifics?
I arrive in LA on Jan 1 but not sure when my vehicle will be available for pick-up, though I do want to be prepared to hit the road with directions once that happens.
Going to give this a try and really want to see how other women are managing!!
Thanks,

Welcome Elsie to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started. We look forward to hearing more from you. highdesertranger

Do you need turn by turn directions or will GPS coordinates be okay.

If you need turn by turn, let us know if you are fine with N,S,E,W or if you need left/right hand turn directions.

I learned to ask after giving people N/S only to find out that that method was useless to them.

CRs N,S,E,W will probably work.
Is the final destination on car Nav (stupid question).
I have never tried just entering GPS coordinates on the car Nav system so if that is possible, I can try as well!!
Probably the more information the better?
Anyway,   Thanks for your help!

Here's a c/p from admin of the WRTR:

The exact coordinates are: 33.827701, -114.055695. Please note the the minus sign in front of the second number. You must include that.

You can plug that in to google maps on your phone if you can't get it to work on your car gps system.

Road directions from Quartzsite - go north on 95 to Plumosa Road, turn right towards Bouse and go about 7 miles. It will be well marked by the time you get there!

If all else fails, put a note up here and wait for a response. We've been known to come rescue those who are lost.... :D

I hope we don't get to the "note" possibility!!
Thanks again for the help.
This is the same location for both WRTR and RTR right?

No the WRTR and the RTR are being held in 2 separate places this year for a variety of reasons.

The WRTR is 5 days and the RTR is 10 which would preclude any women from going to both and staying for the full length of both events. The distance between the 2 events meets or exceeds the BLM rule of moving 25 miles after 14 days in one location.

We can arrive a few days early at the WRTR and stay a few days after the RTR if we so choose to do so.

Nice!  Then from the WRTR I will be able to get instructions to the RTR.
