WI is begging for people to come work here. The unemployment rate is just under 3%. In my area, there are billboards all over by manufacturers willing to train people or send them to school to work for them. Two problems contribute to this challenge: lack of transportation and affordable housing. The first may not be an issue for you, but the second surely will depending on where you look. If you can income qualify, certain apartment complexes reserve units for lower income people (these are not section 8). If you're willing to live in a university area among students, you may pay $500-800 for a studio apartment. Of course, if you are a committed nomad vehicle dweller, then you do not want to be here in winter!
