We're having pizza and beer with our buddy, Chris.
Then, we're settling in the last few things in the van, and ready to fly again.
Got the party on the patio and the tunes playing.
You could say we're doin' the 2 step, some boot scootin' boogy, and then the boogy woogy, and rock 'n roll up the highway

Poking around on the internet. I got a 75 cents off a Redbox movie but I was too tired to walk across the street to get one. And I close Saturday and Sunday night. I hate closing. I prefer to open.

Nothin..only 1 day off so couldn't go anywhere just to return ..ended up playing tf2 at pilot ...they must design those seats to keep you uncomfortable enuff you'll leave after a while lol

Watching updates on the local wildfires and waiting for the temperature to drop.
It's been an interesting week in north county San Diego.

Usually go to a little jazz joint. People bring food and share wine and listen, I used to sit in but I get a little too jazzy, haha bunch of old farts

Other than Calif burning and Rose being too dang tired it sounds like a typical Friday night.

We didn't get as much done as I wanted....I was simply worn out.
We'll drive late Saturday night.

there's a big city-wide rhodendron festival at a town an hour up the coast from me, so a few of my buddies rode up there as the entire old-town section fills with nuthin but motorcycles (aka bikers).

there's car & bike shows on Saturday, a hot-rod cruise Saturday evening, and the big parade on Sunday. There's flower shows all weekend, and the carnival is in town too. Lotsa of PEOPLE!!!!

I could only spend the evening as I had my wife on-board with me, and she hasta work today, so we came back home last night. I'm heading back up again shortly. (my buddies camped up there...and I'll be rejoining them today)

We left Zion NP to move north toward Alaska. We're taking Interstate 15 to Idaho Falls, ID and we both HATE driving through Salt Lake City--worst drive anywhere! So we are camping Friday night and Saturday at Nephi, UT about 80 miles south of SLC. On Sunday morning we will leave here and get through SLC early on Sunday. Good Mormons are in church and the freeway is empty, just the way we like it!

Found a GREAT little dispersed campsite about 10 miles from town in the Unita NF. Had a very nice sunset on Friday night. Beautiful weather, mountains and a light show! Can't ask for more!
