So, have been browsing RV and Trucks. Had this one in mind first.

Then saw this one

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/ctd/d/1988-gmc-boxvan-g3500/6598069416.html

Both in my price range (Cheap)

Paycheck will be (Estimated using paycheckcity.com) about $1,800 net. $300 spoken for, so that leaves up to $1K down if they'll roll the sales tax into the price. If not, then $750 down.  The first one is strange. Been at the dealer for nearly 2 months. Second one is 14 days old...

146K on a 350 Chevy? From a used car lot? That's one I'd be very, VERY wary of. Hire a reputable mechanic to look at that before you go tossing money at it. If that's the original engine in a work van it could be real close to life's end.

I have seen 300K+ on chevy engines. I have heard of them blowing up at 50K. Depends on how it was treated...But as always caution is always a good plan.
