Since getting braces I've been using a waterflosser, I quickly saw it's use for campers. For pinpoint pressure while conserving water, a countertop water flosser doesn't take up much space & uses next to no power.

Some models of cordless waterflossers could be modifed to draw from a 2L bottle or other container with tubing slipped over the intake. This is the one I use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0173PDOMA/ it has a removable resivoir that has an intake tube going to the bottom. It uses AA batteries; no charger & proprietory battery! Simply slip a vinyl tube over to extend it, and suck the water flosser tip to prime the pump if needed and you have a micro pulsing spray that even a backpacker can carry!
