Answer: TracFone (prior owner, T-Mobile)

So I thought I paid my May bill via the old familiar website, finding entrance into the abyss. It's been a day of chasing answers and "fixing" talking on the phone today. You can about imagine the time spent. With 3 calls, I believe it is fixed (gawd I hope).  :dodgy:

So, should you have Walmart Family Mobile, here's to luck on what may come; GREAT wireless service? I've had no complaints prior. TracFone is the largest MVNO in the U.S.

I don't rile easily; however, don't mess with my phone.  :p

you think the coverage is better now with TracFone since it supposedly has "agreements with the United States' largest wireless network operators to provide service using their networks, including Verizon Wireless, AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile US, Sprint Corporation, and U.S. Cellular" as before Family Mobile uses only T-Mobile's network.

Family Mobile is ok with the most part, however traveling thru MT, WY and SD, got zero coverage and gps keep on displaying "searching" and "searching" on my phone.

This is just Walmart's way of getting a bigger slice of profits, private-labeling an MVNO offering in exchange for promoting and shelf space.

When you set up with Tracfone, you are only on ONE of the four actual carriers, there is no special roaming setup between them like Google Fi.

Since they are all the same pricing, it makes sense to make sure you get Vzw or maybe Att depending on your area.

Their SIM kit for BYOP has all four.

i have always found tracfones customer service to be subpar along with strait talks compared to verizons. t-mobile is doing a good job to i am finding out that t-mobile out preforms verizon in my area since LA is a t-mobile test area as well. AT&T was a nightmare for me i could not get 1 mbps on there service horrible along with horrible customer service. i had to file a complaint with the FCC for such bad service and then they didn't want to refund me for them breaking the contract by not providing me with the service that i was paying for. and even after filing a complaint with the FCC they still refused to refund my money!!! i had to file a law suit on them and threaten them with a judgement to get them to move!!! never again!!!
