Those of you who have a library card, check on-line to see if your local library subscribes to vehicle repair manuals. My local library has:

Auto Repair Reference Center
http://www.ebscohost.com/public/auto-repair-reference-center

and

AllData
http://www.alldatadiy.com/?gclid=CPeAg5GK0LMCFaGPPAodk3MASw

For my local library, these databases are search-able for free with a library card. Free!
(/librarynerdrant)

Thanks for the post. I've always bought my repair manuals, never considered getting free use of one from a library online service. Gracias,

I would think most public libraries would have Chilton's & Haines manuals in print form. But there is something magical about logging onto a database and being able to print out the exact wiring diagram you need. Magical and free!

great info i will check into this also. when i had my auto repair shop i used all data, excellent company if the info was not on line on their database they would track it down and get it to you. i closed my shop in '01 and have not used them since. so can't say what they are like now. highdesertranger
