Has anyone done or seen some sort of stripe or decoration on their plain, white van?  I just bought a new one and it seems so plain but I'm thinking being white should be a bit better in summer than a dark color.  I was kind of thinking of a maroon stripe along the sides but just can't picture how it would look in my mind or if it would be dorky. LOL

Your van doesn't sound dorky; it sounds demure...

just drive around the desert for a couple of years. you will have "desert pin-stripping". LOL highdesertranger

It's YOUR van so make it look whatever way makes you happy. If we're going to worry about what others think we shouldn't be living in vehicles.

Yes, you're right LOL. In fact, that's what I tell people.  It's your ______. Do what you want.     My son did some different ideas on the computer to show me how it would look on my van.  I think I've got this.

Search out a vinyl graphics and sign company. They'll work everything out and help along the way......and install if you don't want to.

I have business logos done and I install them myself. They peel off pretty easy with a hair dryer or heat gun so you can change things up when you get bored.

I had a dark red van that was crazy hot in the sun so I painted van
with latex house paint - mostly white with light purple side panels-
droped the tempature inside from 122 to a more comfortable 90 in full sun-

Latex house paint can be pealed off if several coats are applied to make it
thick enough to peal off
or
you can spray citrus cleaner on the paint and let it soak for a hour the paint can
be blasted off in a car wash -

paint is applyed with a foam cabnet roller and it looks pretty nice -

one gallon of paint will cover a extened high roof van with one coat -

you can paint designs and just go wild because paint can be pealed off or painted over quickly
when you want to change designs or color

doing a nice paint job takes about 2 hours -

I used to paint show cars for a living and I can tell you that rolling paint on
is way more fun than spraying it on
