We have been back a week from 3 days on the Poudre River in Colorado near Ft. Collins.  What a beautiful place.  I am putting up videos and photos on the website.

I am learning to make videos!  What a scenic place this turned out to be for subject maner.  I am writing down what I learn as I learn it and having so much fun (when I am not tearing my hair out!)

It's amzaing what a vacation can do to make you feel relaxed.  I did not want to go before the trip because we were going to be in a tent for the first time in a long time.  Ha ha - I'm teaching how to have a spa treatment in the forest.

We almost headed to Leadville where Bob was headed and about the same time but I saw the evening temps and picked Ft. Collins instead.  Because we got there a week before the holiday we had a lot of great choices for camping and chose wisely.

I have a bear story and a ghost story in the works.  I'm having fun.  I will be doing a large garage sale soon with some furniture going.  I thought I'd put it up now and get the heavy bedroom furniture out and live out of suitcases until we can take off.

The best thing about coming back was upgrading the format of the magazine and seeing our photo on YouTube.  That was shocking, especially when it came up on the big screen TV.  It would not show content for hours cause there is a hidden method of getting it online so I thought it was broken and was channel surfing.  Now that's wierd.

I can't wait to finish the trip photos cause I want to talk to you guys here about building the back on our pickup as that discussion was left off 2 weeks ago.  I did a pattern in 3D that I video taped and will show it IF we get the thing built.

Will probably jump back on this board more now I'm almost undone packing.

Wow. 100 views and not a single response. That is kind of interesting. Well, if anyone got anything out of the post I'd like to say the Poudre River area of Colorado is beautiful. True, it isn't a free campsite. With Senior Pass we stayed 3 days for $32 so some here would be able to stay there. When I take off I hope to have a mix of free and paid for sites.

I camped on the Poudre a couple of years ago. I absolutely agree with you. It's lovely there. I like it farther west, as well, in the North Park area. (Or as I like to call it Moose Central) Well it's the mountains of CO - throw a dart, it's all great.

Good luck with your garage sale! It always feels great to jettison cargo. :D

Thanks! I have a cool photo of sleeping elephant mountain I took years ago when I stayed there. Yes, it's all beautiful, what a lovely state.

I have the dressers almost emptied and have been putting clothes in weekender bags. I'd rather know the heavy bedroom furniture is gone and deal with living out of suitcases then keep worrying about all the things I have to do. I say check em off the list. I'm scanning photos now as well. Will divy the physical photos among family members.

You're reminding me of all the stuff I have to do before my blast off date. :-/ Amazing all the stuff we accumulate. I've already donated a ton and still have loads to get rid of. Scanning photos is a good idea. At this stage of my life I'll take digital over physical for both pics and books.

My two bedroom bookcases used to be full of books. Now I have a small amount and use my bookcases as sorting space. In fact, I did my blog about my bookcases today! (Sat) LOL. I have been surprised about things I thought I would be heartbroken about giving up and then find out I barely think about them and that no it isn't terribly painful if I do.

My Kindle is my friend.

Some of what I've set aside to take I possibly will not be able to but I pack it as if I can and then will have to give it up if it proves to be too much come packing time. We have yet to decide on the trailer. I keep condensing and condensing and donating and giving. A garage sale looms soon with another one come spring. Thinking about adding a for sale section to my website so I can do good photos.

Colorado is beautiful.  I don't even mind when I need to drive hubby to work because the mountains are beautiful even when you are not actually among them.
