I am a 75-year-old woman who has fallen in love with the road through this site. I would need a small, lower-cost used van that would be relatively easy to maintain since I have no mechanical or building skills. What type of van would you suggest I begin researching???

The newest you can afford..... I prefer a Chevy Express van myself.

Welcome to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

There have been an awful lot of people going to minivans and HOWA builds them out for folks in need. An awful lot of videos and information on the CRVL video site log and here. If I wasn’t so darn fat and crippled I try to live in a smaller van to get better gas mileage. When I first arrived here in Florida on Thanksgiving day gas was $.75 a gallon. I was very low on gas and paid over $80 to fill her up today. Boo who!
