Hello Bob & Tribe!
I joined this forum about a year ago and last spring had an abrupt stop to my plans due to a family breakup. Time and healing have passed and I am starting this New Year recommitted to getting into my van. Which is really good because my landlady is breathing down my neck about wanting to raise my rent...AGAIN. ugh! I did manage to buy a minivan last February so I at least have the hardest part done. Here is the link to my beloved Ms Violet from the forum for anyone who is interested in taking a look. I read this great quote on one of Bob's blogs that said, "Start small, start now." --and that kinda hit a cord for me.

I also have a new unplanned puppy to hit the road with me along with my 13-year old dog, Ming. She is a Chihuahua mix named Yoyo that I adopted from a neighbor. Man, I really thought I'd be getting a lab mix this time. :-/ But I love her to pieces (all four pounds of her) and she loves the van so she will be great at riding shotgun.
Anyway, it is really, REALLY good to have this dream back in motion. I look forward to catching up with you all and meeting the first time newcomers!
