Trying to post photo-FRUSTRATED

[Travelers Rest]

Woke up at 4:00 am. Created Flickr account. Resized photo according to Bob's tutorial. Posted photo, but showed up as thumbnail. Not want I wanted. The photo I wanted are like these in this thread: https://vanlivingforum.com/showthread.php?tid=26083

I wonder if some one at the library would help me?

I used to be in a fishing forum 19 years ago. I was able to post doing the

, but don't recall how I did it now. I right clicked on the Ingrid Bergman photo, but it does not say "properties" , but has "inspect".

Some one threw the stick, this old dog can't find the stick any more. 

Well, off to Wally World for a wall mount tv bracket.

Ok....are you trying to post photos (upload) that are on your computer or are you trying to post photos (links) that are on the web somewhere?

I find linking to an Imgur post easiest, lots of helper apps for every OS

you know if you click on the thumbnail it will open a new window and the pic will be full size. highdesertranger

Ok....are you trying to post photos (upload) that are on your computer or are you trying to post photos (links) that are on the web somewhere?

I'll just have to re-read over and over to the tutorial link below. I wish we had a practice section to practice posting pics, since we can't delete a posted thread with pic. I'll just have to slow down. Not good to try things when your tired. Thanks for reply, tx2sturgis.

In my experience if I use the 'add attachment' at the bottom (after previewing post) it comes up as a thumbnail, if I use the 'insert an image it comes full size. I used the URL of an image I found through the 'insert an image' for the Ingrid photo. I'm no Guru on this stuff!

If you're trying to post pics that are on your computer .
Try this...

Reduce jpeg (or ? photo) to something like 400px600p with an app like this....

At bottom of thread page.
L click New Reply.

At bottom of thread page.
click Browse
Find file of photo and highlight it.
click open.

At bottom of reply page.
click Add Attachment.


File will appear at bottom of post where browse was.
place cursor in reply where you want the picture.

click Insert Into Post.

click post reply.

Yes it did enlage, after I put the pointer to it, the little magnifying glass with a + showed up. Thanks, highdesertstranger.

I don't think you have to worry about posting a pic to large. it won't let you do it, at least it won't let me. I get a warning that the pic is to large and to try again. highdesertranger
