Hey folks, One of the constants that we see here on the forums is always the question of insulation. We all know in a nutshell "Insulation GOOD" - "No Insulation - BAD". A lot of good ideas - and some NOT so good have been thrown around here. I've been meaning to add my 2 cents and it's a nasty rainy day keeping me out of the great outdoors so now's the time. Sadly. I learned about this stuff during the time that my wife was slowly passing away. She was in a wheelchair at the end and was very weak. She had problems getting a firm footing on the carpet in her bedroom so we ripped it out and replaced it with this non skid, impermeable recycled rubber flooring.

It comes in rolls and various thicknesses that is very easy to work with. I installed (with glue) it on our floor - 24'x24' - in less than a day. It really is as advertised. One property I noticed about it after we purchased it was that it insulates and reflects heat due to its extreme density (it's made of tires) very well also. I still have a roll left and often use it for insulated matting, shock padding, and to act as a non conductive barrier - I sleep on a cot pad made of it while camping in cold weather. The link I have inserted below is for informational purposes only. We got ours from another source. This really does a great job and would be ideal for those flooring and insulation for their vehicles. Just my contribution to the greater good!
