Betty Reid Soskin at age 96 is still going strong five days a week giving tours and presentations at the Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond, Calif.

google it as i don't post links anymore , but love her quote

“I’m going to go straight from the park to the cemetery,”

Thanks for the post; I was not aware of that park and will have to add it to my list. I hope I get to meet Ranger Soskin.

I met Ranger Lyle Ruterbories at Kintla Lake in Glacier National Park in 2015 when he was 95. I read that he had finished another season in 2017 at age 97 and will likely be back for 2018 at age 98.
I guess Ranger Soskin is the oldest full time ranger while Ranger Ruterbories is a seasonal ranger. He is resident ranger at one of the remote campgrounds in the northwest part of Glacier, living in an off grid cabin with no power or telephone.

The National Park Service confirms that Soskin is the oldest full-time park ranger. Lyle Ruterbories, who works at Glacier National Park in Kintla Lake, Mont., near the U.S. and Canadian border, is the oldest seasonal ranger the park service is aware of, park service spokesman Jeff Olson told the AP this week.
