I am a UK citizen by birth, and makes me want to move back. I've done a little more research and it is very expensive, this model. The company makes a host of very innovative campers, check out their website.
Gas is monstrously expensive in the UK compared to the USA, upwards of 7-8 bucks per gallon, largely due to massive taxes on "petrol". Those kinds of taxes would never be tolerated in the US without creating an armed insurrection. Upside of car living in the UK is the whole of the UK can fit into Texas several times over, so there wouldn't be the vast distances to cross that there are in the USA. Downside: 65 million people live on that island, so its pretty crowded, except up in Scotland and some parts of Wales and northern England.

To the poster who wanted an indoor shower....in a car that's going to be tough (seen it done but it seems uncomfortable), in a truck camper or van, less so. My ideal vehicle living situation would be a pop up fourwheel, allterrain or phoenix truck camper on a Toyota Tacoma. These are aluminum framed campers, very lightweight. Most do not have room for an indoor shower or bathroom, but that can be easily remedied with a porta potty or luggable loo and a plastic tote with a shower curtain and a "bug sprayer" type shower. Check out the wander the west (dot com) forums for numerous examples of how members have created workable indoor bathrooms for themselves. New these campers are quite expensive, but you can find used campers much cheaper sometimes on craigslist etc.
