Walking down Mission street here in SF to pick-up lunch for my overlord A 99 cent/clothing store was "going out of business" I have said hi to this guy for the last 10 years It was sad. He lost his lease. Plops a reel of what looked like heavy copper wire on the sidewalk. Free I asked he said yes I need to empty out the building. I pick it up 40 pounds 50 pounds? I was close perhaps 200 Ft. #4 stranded USA wire WOW, I had just been looking at the prices on line and short of offering him 20 bucks which he refused. carried it back.

If it's insulated you've got a definite score and I'd hang onto that wire. ..Willy.

The worn label reads General Cable Kingman AZ. 600 volts oil and gasoline resistant it has a thick black hard coating. and on a wood spool looks like 60's 70's I think I just beat the shopping cart brigade on this one.

That is $1.44 a foot here in Flagstaff at Home Depot.&nbsp; A couple friends here just bought some.<br>Good score.

Flagstaff, or rather the National Forest outside of Flagstaff is just right.&nbsp; Now at 6:14 am it is 47 degrees, will get into the eighties by afternoon.&nbsp; Afternoon thunderstorms have started a few days ago, so it cools off real nice mid afternoon.
