Found this in local CL, talked to the guy and might go meet him tomorrow. Here's a link to a retailer page of item: Cal Flame 2-burner drop-in

Here's the CL ad:  http://keys.craigslist.org/for/5721102889.html

Expensive bugger, so figure it must be high quality, and I like the lid which provides counter space when closed. My only concern is that the spec sheet say specifically that it's not intended for marine or mobile installations, but it doesn't say why. I'm thinking it's because it doesn't have an auto-off feature if there's no pilot or something. But maybe there's another reason I'm not aware of...?

Planning on offering him $200 for it...

kinda of expensive. I take it you don't want an oven. I know where you live you might not have a lot of options but I would wait and find a junk yard that has RV's and get a stove oven combo. or just use a portable. another point one of the apartment complexes I work for bought fancy expensive stainless BBQ's three years ago. they are junk. all the stainless burners are burnt out, the cross overs are burnt out, and the igniters don't work. just because something is stainless and expensive doesn't mean it's good. highdesertranger

watched the video and those nice brass burners are multi piece (the guy just lifted a ring off the center to show the brass to the camera), also the 'reversible' pot/wok grates....may be the reason it's not recommended for marine/rv use. a rough road or some choppy water and those parts could be bouncing around....although hopefully would stay under the lid.
definitely designed for upscale backyard patio stationary use.

before giving him the money, make sure it is set up for propane and not natural gas, otherwise there will be some orifices to change.

hope it works out....that is a sweet looking drop in.

Good points... I got excited actually finding something useful on CL down here and forgot that I was thinking a oven combo might be nice. Combined with my googling this morning and finding lots of "Safe for RV use" labels, I guess I'll pass...

Ahhh now I get it. That's one component for a backyard cooking island. The kind my customers assume the grease everything gets coated with doesn't get full of dust and baked in the sun.
