Sitting towards SE Iowa I have been hearing about this for days, but yet nothing. Supposedly tonight and tomm it hits here. But I am thinking it will not be as bad here as was predicted. Got groceries and enough beer for 2 days, so even if its bad, I won't need to drive anywhere. Stay safe!

You are probably fortunate that you still have electric. I'm assuming you do anyway. I hate ice storms and have been in some doozies in north Texas over the years. Funny though, my last problem with losing electric from a winter event here was a foot of snow. Stay warm up there!
