Stealth in Atlantic City?

AC and surrounding towns and rural areas are all incorporated into local governments. All are hard on sleeping in vehicles. Even the Walmart are hard to stay. With the winter increase in viral count, restaurants and bars are closed. Expect the casinos to close by New year. The health care jobs are begging for fresh bodies.

I was born in Atlantic City. I lived in Ventnor, the next town down, till I was 15. From then on, I lived mostly in Atlantic City until about 1990 till I moved down here to Florida. Atlantic City is dangerous! From Albany ave down to Jackson Ave, which is the border to Ventnor, it's not quite as bad and is mostly residential. It's called lower Chelsea.
There's not a way in the world that I would sleep in my van in the rest of Atlantic City without a loaded pistol under my pillow. Even then I'd sleep with one eye open. I'm not a drama queen. I'm 5'11" 210lbs and can take care of myself. I'm telling you this out of experience and some really bad experience at that, not second hand knowledge.
Some areas in the city look pretty nice now. They're NOT.
The only bonus is that the police have real crime to deal with and they don't sweat the little sh**

Thanks guys! Still not sure if I'll take the job, it would be for a few months until my regular job comes back. Guess I'll stick to regular lodgings if I can find one with safe-ish parking. Last time I worked there I got an Airbnb in Absecon which seemed ok.

There are safe areas around AC including some parts of Absecon. I have a sister who lives there. I didn't know you were familiar with it. I was warning you about the city itself. Personally speaking, I don't know where I'd attempt to crash in my van in that area.. Not Ventnor, Margate or Longport..that's for sure. Mostly single family homes with bored police. There is no such thing as stealth with my rig. Solar panels on the roof.
