State Trust Lands

I was looking at northeast New Mexico on Mike Gaia GPS public lands overlay map and quite a bit of it is a lavender color that says state trust lands. Is this available for Boondocking or dispersed camping? I’m trying to find information but haven’t had much luck.

Eastern New Mexico is a very different state than Albuquerque and west of there. Far more conservative and not so open to vagabonds. Easily seen by the restrictive land use laws. I would be careful over there

The hunting program requires purchasing a hunting license. The issued license will be for a specific game animal and season. Your camping is only allowed in areas where and when it is legal to hunt that game.

To me that is too much bother, when there's USFS and BLM land available.
