Sprinters now Made in the USA

This was news to me!

Sprinters are now made here in the good 'ol USA, in North Charleston, South Carolina. 

Amazon is buying 20,000 of them.

As I type this, Hurricane Florence is making South Carolina a swimming pool, but maybe the Sprinter YOU buy will be all dried out by the time you get it....

I know the sprinter has been "assembled" here in the USA since their beginning. It cost way to much to ship the completed Sprinter due to tariffs and taxes etc. So they made them in Germany and completely disassembled them, and shipped them here and reassembled them.
So do they have a complete plant to build from scratch like Tesla or Ford?
