I'm not making this any time soon, but I saw this and thought that I'd share it.

Wow, I wonder how well that works. And also how well those panels on places like the front face and fenders will hold up to road junk flying at them. That said, I like the concept. I'm waiting for the technology to advance to the point that Tesla can make their paint photovoltaic, so their cars can be self powering.

It's done for looks only, only the full ones on top and on the sunny side would produce anything, and you need enough producing cells in series to get significant power. I wonder if they are even wired up.
