Still here, waiting for mail. Had tracking number, supposedly delivered on the 10th. Postmaster pretty much brushed us off and acted like it was our problem. Finally, campground researched security tape. Box was never delivered. Now, it is absolutely the post office's problem.

DH is breathing fire. Son sent him nearly $100 worth of Captain Black pipe tobacco. He put it in bags because the cans would cost more to ship. Someone joked that the Feds might have X - rayed the box, saw the bags, and thought it was drugs. Great. Haha. How long would it take them to analyze it and figure out that it was pipe tobacco?

If I were getting a run around from a local postmaster, I would tell him I was going to call the U.S. Postal Inspectors and report that my mail was stolen from his Post Office. Bet that would motivate him to find my package.

Regards
John

Put that in your pipe and smo... wait never mind.

I trust when looking up the tracking # online it doesn't say delivered?

Yes, riffraff, it does say it was delivered. The postal deliverer says she remembers delivering it. The security tapes show that she did not. Apparently, she often delivers to the wrong campground. The other campground has been called, no luck. I don't knowcwhat it is about some deliverers. We used to get mail at least once a week that was not ours.

Is the post deliverer's name Lucy? Cause she's got some 'splainin' to do!!

It's a message from Murphy because you were pumping unions the other day. :)

Actually I have had very good luck with usps and our local office gal is fantastic at her job.

If I stop pumping unions, do you think the mail spirits will take mercy on DH and show up with his tobacco?

No, you are screwed. Think local, buy local or grow yer own. Tell him to also stop wasting his health unless he's really getting something from the smoke.....like a high.

Got the package! It was delivered to the local elementary school, and the school sat on it for 5 days. Literally, I think. It looks like someone very, very heavy sat on it for 5 days.
