One reason I haven't seriously considered adding solar onto my truck camper was for a lack of usable space - with the vents and panels, there is little land grouped together.
Seems to me - if one had an idea what they were doing - they could design a panel with a unique shape, to fit the space available. Came across this nice demonstration of building a solar panel, and thought I'd share it here. Nice explanation of of how a panel works, even if one doesn't want to build one.
