Hi everyone.

Rolling north today, my ultimate destination is the Telluride area, looking for cooler temps than in AZ. Left Payson,AZ this morning and now I'm in Show Low,. Parking at the Walmart here. BTW, you can park for 24 hours.

Avoid Telluride during the week of June 11-19. The Telluride Bluegrass Festival is occurring, the town will be open to only those who have tickets. The surrounding campgrounds and dispersed camping will be full, too, of festival goers.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know this. There are plenty of other dispersed camping though.

Head over to Silverton, Colorado as there is plenty of dispersed camping around there. It is north of Durango on Hwy 550.
