Outdoor Magazine has an article about traveling the southwest. "A longtime resident of the Southwest shares her favorite ways to see this region’s geological wonders, surreal sunsets, and wide-open spaces" Here is the LINK

The article mentions a place where you can rent vintage travel trailers. It is very cool. And, their website says you can camp there for $25

Here is the vintage trailer "motel": https://hotellunamystica.com/

There is also a place to stay in vintage trailers in Bisbee, AZ, a charming old town near the Border of Mexico. But not too hot as it is at higher elevation.

The Earthships are very near there too. Linda May lived near there as well, but has moved on!
