Quartzsite.... saw a baby bobcat!

We were out doing a little rock hunting wayyyyy back near the mountains ahead of us was what looked like a small dog. It jumped into the wash area and looked back at us as we stopped.  It was a large housecat sized bobcat!  That explains the strange sounds we were hearing last night that I knew couldn't be coyotes. If I hear them tonight, i'm doing some stalking to see for sure.  The sitting was very exciting!

No gold, but maybe some silver... Not really sure we have a clue what we are looking for yet... But was fun... Lots and lots of quartz though... At Quartzsite!

there are a couple pretty cool prospecting clubs in Q and some active small mines. the area is a known gold producer. highdesertranger
