Possible bus find. Advice please.

I read Kerouac's "On The Road" back in the sixties.
I think it was the first time the road bug was planted in me.

Also read Tolkien about the same time.
That was the adventure bug.

Kesey was on the same shelf.
I never did the merry prankster thing but some of my bands did a pretty good imitation.

After those most of my reading was technical journals and textbooks , had to keep ahead of the rest of the pack..

Love the optimism rvpopeye lol. I love the idea of building mine the way I want it. I would just be happy to find a bus. I looked at vans again today but long term I really like the extra space and the extra height in a bus. I am only 5' 1" but I still like not feeling closed in.

I don't know if magical, blue, invisible sheep smell. I will ask my grandson. he is very knowledgeable on the subject it appears lol.

My first camper was a pick up with a cap.
5'6"x 8' x MAYBE 4' tall
The second was a short bed 6'x6'6"but I built a wall between the bed and the cap so I could stand up straight...
I'm 5'4" so never bump my head in any RV I live in.

Having come of age in the SF Bay area in the '70's I remember The Demon Box (have a copy) and all things Further. 

The film of the famous cross country road trip is a must see.

@rvpopeye....not as much of a head as some of my friends....I think I counted up about 40-50 shows before Jerry died. Have seen most of the following versions of the band.....just saw Dead & Co. on Jimmy Fallon the other night. Not big on going to large crowd events these days.

A buddy went to a party out west several years ago and came back with a picture of him in front of the original Further bus sitting parked among the weeds. Don't know if it was ever saved/restored?

Gettin a bit off topic here....need to channel all those 'Deadhead Vibes' into good luck for SSW's bus search!

It's looking easier to find Aidens magical, invisible, blue sheep than a bus right now. BTW rvpopeye, I asked and he says they don't stink. They don't even fart. True story lol. He really told me that. Gotta love kids!

Hopefully I can line up a bus to check out this weekend. My son said he will go with me and I will take Saturday off if I find something interesting.

HaHa!! I have looked for a step van but they are more expensive (at least here) and I need a really small one (haven't found any small ones yet). I also think it could be hard to do for me because I need a door and I must, absolutely MUST, have lots of windows. I don't know how to do that. I'm sure I could figure it out or maybe find someone to do them for me if a deal came along. I do look for step vans every time I look for buses for sale. I am open to one.

I went this weekend and looked at some vans even though I really want a bus. I also looked at a bus but it was a no go. I just haven't found the one yet.

if your asking it looks to me as if it has the wrong rims on it. being a 1ton dually it should have hub-centric rims, that black outer rim looks like a lug-centric rim. although the pic is not that clear I could be mistaking. highdesertranger

I tried downloading the pic and blowing up to see the wheels but not very clear.
Hard to tell anything negative /positive without getting up close in person.
I did like the extended rear bumper with the cage/porch though.
Not a great plus but a plus.
The list of add ons in the ad was pretty nice too.
