Imagine being able to Camp and have Pizza delivered where the Box becomes a Digital Projector and your
receipt bar code allows you access to a list of free movies.  Thus you could get a Pizza Dinner & a Movie
and possibly a large bottle of Soda and chips delivered with it.   It's going to be entirely possible soon.

The small plastic "table" you find in your pizza to keep the box lid out of the pizza will now have a lens with the proper focal lenght to use with the Smart Phone to make the box into a digital projector.  Tis could be great in the field using a bed sheet as a screen.  The audio could be run through the newer generations of Boom Boxes
which are handy if equipped with an aux input port.  HDMI etc.

I know, some of us want to get away from the complexities of the tech world when we go on the road and camp and I don't blame them.  But I can see repair parts shipping in boxes similarly where video streams of
tutorials and instructions could be displayed before starting the job.

See the story and watch the video's  here.

Yes Falcon, I agree.  But even with low end Digital Projectors they need to be in real dark environments.

Nikon and GE have Digital Cameras with Digital Projectors built into them too.  Thus you can run a slide show
for other guest to your camp.  "Show and tell" entertainment.  The first generation of these wasn't very
high in quality,  but they are getting better and more refined.   With this box projector concept I'm sure
the Smart Phone Manufactures will be looking into brighter display properties just  for this purpose.  With it being in the field of electronics.....I'd look for rapid advances with this.

The pizza will end up costing how much to cover the fancy box? Oh, yes, there is a movie.

How do they keep the box non-greasy? Is the pizza in a box within the projector box?

I'm waiting for pizza from a replicator and a holodeck pass.

My google skills disappoint me, so what is in the box, pizza wise? I stopped eating pizza hut not long after they downsized the Pzone but this looks like it would be fun to play with if it doesn't cost much more than getting an equivalent pizza from a pizza place that's actually good.

Being an 'old dog', I sometimes look at these nifty high-techie ideas and wonder..... "WHY?" :)

As the guy said in Jurassic Park, "Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD!"
I couldn't afford the hit to my limited data rate.

LOL,  yes I understand.   The

new cameras and camcorders are out there now which have built
in projectors in them.  This Sony CamCorder's flip out screen has a projector built in the back side of
it.  I figure before long the Cell phones will offer this same feature as well so anyone will be able to
poke a few places on the screen and project movies, TV shows, and show their photos of family and
places that they have been.   I find it ironic that more old timers are more adept with Cell's than they are with
computers.

With a Cell thus equipped,  Camera, CamCorder, Projector, and all the other mobile features...you could
do just about anything......limited only by one's plan.

If I were going on the road full time and doing a lot of boondocking etc I'd have an unlimited plan for myself.

From what I have seen checking into things there is NO 'unlimited plan' offered anymore. You pay for whatever Gigs you need. Even then they may well throttle you after two or three Gigs even if you have paid for ten. Even 'grandfathering' older unlimited plans is being stopped. This is the only reason I am keeping my landline with DSL modem. I can't afford the cellphone data plan that I would need to replace it.

Interesting.   I haven't shopped Cell plans for some time now.

I was just watching a story on my local TV Station Evening News and they are talking about how so many aps out there are filled with spyware running in the background constantly reporting your Cells activity and slowing down it's performance.  Makes sense what you are saying about paying for Gigs and then being throttled down.  I wonder whether it's the Cell Service or all the spyware slowing things down ?

Sad that it renders the Cell less usable when it has so much to offer.

unlimited plan=$$$$$$

My Straighttalk pay as you go hotspot $40/4GB/60days on Verizon towers..............
Closest I can afford :)
