Regarding the fun and games I had with https://vanlivingforum.com/Thread-My-double-chuckle-Wednesday

I spoke with manager who freaked out when she asked about my paycheck deposit. When I said "Oh I thought it (The first paycheck) was a hard check like you said" She said she didn't understand my quesiton then...Not surprised...

When I said that she was FLOORED I thought they'd do a check first, I told her this was a bit "Uncommon" but not surprising. :-/

So she's burning the wires to HR (Redmond, WA) asking about the direct deposit (I gave them a voided check) but she said "You were supposed to get paid on the 10th, why aren't you hurting for money?"

I smiled and said "I have learned to not buy unless I NEED it"....(I have enough to probably go another month with no excessive purchases)...

I didn't tell her I lived out of my van and don't have to pay rent, she must think I have a MASSIVE back up of cash...

Or walk back into hell.

Got a call from an agency which wanted me to go back to an old employer. I'm not going to as when working for Walmart, met 2 of my old co-workers and both said "It's gotten B..A..D"...If she calls again, I'll just say "Not interested"....

Too happy with this job.....
