Who is roughing it most of the year out there in the boonies? I'm interested in doing just that, making a trip to town for provisions and possibles maybe once a week.

at the moment I do it for 2 to 3 months a year.  in the future i will go full time.  hint,  try to make 2 weeks minimum without resupply.  it'll save you allot of money in the long run.  highdeertranger
