Anyone ever use one? I currently carry a Silver Falcon when dog and I are exploring, but it is not comfortable in my hand. The only time I ever used it was to cut some twine off dog's legs. They seem awfully cheap to be good.

I keep a small one in my daypack.  So far no complaints--use it to cut up apples/cheese etc.

I just received my #8 with a olive wood handle. Very nice pocket knife.

The rounded wooden handle is more comfortable than the slender metal one on the Falcon.  But I have wondered if gets weak and breaks or lets the blade wiggle and slip with different humidity and age. My son bought my Falcon for me almost 10 years ago, I think. He got annoyed with me taking his .
