Great work. I'm silently watching too.
Waiting for the house to start.

Just curious how many hours & money you have so far trying to get on the road?
Not a lot , don't know the exact figures but I'm still probably under 1500 not including buying the van witch was under a grand. Replaced the rearmost vent with my new fantastic fan yesterday too.

Well I moved into a smaller Garage in a complex that I was at and went from $425 a month to 190. And then today I went and picked up a 3 foot by 8 foot workbench to go in my new shop and while I was there the guy was asking me if I knew anybody that needed an air conditioner so he had a 6000 BTU window unit air conditioner that was old as hell but built like a tank so I got it for free it only uses 600 watts of power it works perfect it just needed a little clean it up and then he threw in a small folding table and two padded metal chairs that fold along with probably a 8 ft long 2 x 10 all for free I just had to drive to Charlotte and get it . This window unit will be perfect for the box truck air conditioner and the table will work good for cooking outside and stuff. I have the cover for the front of the air conditioner I just headed in the back of the truck I got to bring it home and clean it it came from a smoker's house so it's all yellow.

Good find. All white plastic yellows with time be it from smoking or not AFAIK. We used to have a lot of yellow computers and monitors in a non-smoking office.

guys wife died 2 years ago from lung cancer..pretty sure its smoke, and the fact it wipes off with a wet rag.

You’ll really have to clean every crevice to get that nicotine out of there or otherwise you’ll get blasted by the stench when you turn it on. Vinegar sorta works.

an ozone generating air filter. Aim it at the AC with of course the AC exhausting the air to the outside instead of blowing it inside. Just put the AC unit in fan only mode. The Ozone generating air cleaners are what they put in the bars back in the days when people could smoke inside of a bar.

I removed the front cover and cleaned it with zep purple cleaner looks almost new, the I cleaned the pure nastiness off the evaporator and wiped the inside air ducts down. Runs and smells like new. Also took my sika self leveling sealant and sealed the roof area made a patch for the antenna hole and sealed around the new roof vent. Then figured out how to check my abs codes now on to fixing it.

I have scored a few good deals on some power tools, got a 6 month old Hitachi 10 inch table saw for 65 bucks and this last Friday I scored a 10 inch dewalt 713 type 1  miter saw for 60 bucks so I decided to start making my first cabinet .. its 24 inches deep and 36 inches wide and will have a 5 ft long top on it  with a 2 ft opening under it . also tested to see if the 1000 watt sportsman generator will run the A/C unit and sadly it will not, the start up amps on the compressor is just too high. ohh well it was free. I can use it in the house Im renting. if Im here next summer, will save on running the central air so Im able to sleep at night.
