off base viewing of Yuma Airshow

The Yuma Airshow is this weekend and we would like to see the flying demonstrations but don't want to go on base. Does anybody know if the planes can seen from Mittry Lake or Senator Wash?

Thanks for the information! I guess we won't be watching planes from any location. I'm kind of surprised because as of this morning it was still on. People in Yuma don't seem to be panicking about coronavirus. Stores aren't crowded and still have supplies but we haven't gone into Sams Club where it seems like people go to really stock up for disaster situations.

The Saturday event in Yuma is also cancelled, mayor came out with an announcement. Party's over a month early.  -crofter

Crofters right, just drove by a large sign on 32nd st saying show cancelled. The fairgrounds are directly across the st from the runways and are a great place to watch from when they resume.
