As a young man, my shop woodworking skills afforded me a D+ in high school. Not much has changed over the years.
For our van, we installed a Home Depot workbench with a drawer. It has a nice larger countertop and a huge drawer for all our kitchen stuff. I only added some heavy duty L brackets to secure it through the van floor. It is really solid and we love it. I then purchased a Lagun table mount and mounted it to the front leg of the workbench using longer bolts. I found the table top for the table at Lowes for about 69.00. It matches the Husky workbench top perfect. We now have more countertop space when cooking or eating at then any other camper we have owned. Best of all, I don't have to look at my handy woodworking. Also built a fridge slide under it so our fridge is tucked away under the workbench when it is closed up.
