I have been a lurker off and on and had a different account but only posted once and can't recall login so redid today. I'm a few years plus from being able to really do this.

My planish is a mini van as it is just me and a smaller dog and the gas mileage will be good.  Maybe pull something small but prolly not.  Plan to purchase something a few years old in 3-5 years.  Thinking about a stow and go type as I feel this will make it easier.  I'm a minimalist by nature and working on decreasing my possessions.  I currently just rent a room in someones house as a way to decrease expenses too.  I can't move into a vehicle right now as I live in a brutally cold winter climate.

Love reading all the posts and watching some YouTube channels as well!

Welcome backish !
I've spent many pretty brutal winters (in Maine and traveling North , South , East and West) in the back of my pickup in a home built camper and in class A and class C motorhomes. Do-able but not particularly fun.

Hi Kerrywanders and welcome to the forum!

I'm new here as well and just getting familar. I have a Caravan with Stow n Go and I LOVE it!! I'm just starting to collect materials (all will be repurposed) to make my van into a camper van and plan to start out slow. Hoping eventually to transition into vandwellng full time.

The Caravan's are definitly smaller then conversion vans but there are advantages too. I plan to take pictures from start to finish and possibly do some videos of my build and the process.

Best of luck hoping you find yourself a great van!!

Hi Karywanders,
Another newbie here. I'm with you on being a minimalist. Getting rid of stuff is so freeing.
Best wishes as you move towards your goals!
