Welcome aboard matey !
Thanks for your service in Nam and congratulations on making it back , we all lost so many friends there !

You've found a great place for ideas for your fun van and the Mercedes too.
Hope to hear more from you as your projects develop.

Nobody has said it yet but we love before/progress/after pictures .

Post your questions and you'll get lots of answers.......

Welcome Chuck! You've found one of the best groups of individuals on the 'Net!

Chuck - thank you for your service, Sir! I missed Vietnam by one year. Those were terrible years to be a youngster - thank you for being a man at a child's age.
Find a way to support both of you and insist that she retire early. Do it today. Tomorrow is not promised (I know). She will thank you over and over again. Enjoy your lives NOW! (my 2 cents)

thank you for your service.Welcome I am new here also but  I felt so welcomed right away.  there is a lot of good people and good help. :) welcome

Sounds like you have lots of raw material to work with.. experiment with.. have fun with.

So as you get one or both ready. is your wife on board for weekend or vacation trips? Those let you test out how well what you build functions. And gives both of you a chance to see if a future if full-time travel would make both of you happy.

I'll echo all the thanks given for your service -- sadly, I know that during your time of service there were not always a lot of "thanks" to be had.

I'll be among those eager to see what you decide on and build out!
