Hi, From Florida
I just bought a used 2015 Town and Country Van and am about to begin my van living. I need to build it out but for now I have a cot in the van. I had done quite a bit of traveling and camping (tent and car in bad weather) in the last couple of years. I am so excited to have a van! All I have been reading says travel for a while and you will get a better idea how you want to build.
Enjoying the journey,
Terri

Welcome to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the CRVL Forum   :)

Since you're brand new,  let me offer you to check out the links below.  1) on Van & Trailer Conversion
for bare beginning,  and 2) a Portal of handy info to use for pre planning or revising your journey when out on the road with a portal of links to useful info to make your life safer, more comfortable, and convenient when on the road.

Before you begin to build out,  look around for ideas.  There are certainly plenty of them here to learn from.  Sketch some ideas out to consider before you build, as whatever you build will be what you will have to live with.  Try to keep to the simple layout and get as many uses as you can from any item you take along.

Good Luck !

Hi Terri. Welcome to the form I hope you find what you’re looking for. Town and countries are nice vans I used to own a similar one. But I used it for the family I never slept in it I am too big a man to get around in a minivan. What part of Florida are you in? And are you planning to stay in Florida or move on? I plan to be leaving PA next week and in about three or four weeks end up in Sarasota. Pinecraft to be specific. What do you find for the Boondocking situation in Florida so far I’ve only been doing Internet research it seems there are some possibilities but I need to learn more. Good luck to you.
