Hello all, can't believe it took this long to get here ! I am on disability due to lung issues and have been unable to work in my craft for several years , always been an outdoor person and the crowds in Houston just made me crazy, found myself sitting at the computer all day, drinking a bit much and wishing I had been able to meet Hunter S Thompson ! Sooo , I did a test run over into Louisiana at the Shereborne WMA and then to a small place called Alligator Park (4.00 a night). Well , aside from the mosquitos , I slept , felt, acted , and ate better than I have in a while. It was great ! Why did I wait ? So I have loaded up my old bike into the truck and am heading to SC to see an old friend and will be using his place as a base and to store my bike, he rides and we are planning on doing the Blue Ridge in the Fall. Then I don't really know , probably around Ashville till it gets too cold and then just meander SW.<br>Thank ya'll , I'll post up pics of my adventures with my buddy Tank ,the Blue Heeler as soon as we get on the road in another week !!<br>George
