I'm an artist from New Jersey, and I just bought a "MIni Winnie" to live, paint and see the country in.I am excited and nervous about the big livestyle change I just made.My biggest concern is that my rv, ("the Millennium Falcon) will be too big and conspicuous to boondock.Thoughts? Very happy to be a member of the tribe. : )

I think it depends on what your definition of boondock is. The traditional meaning is that you're camping way way out in the sticks and away from civilization. Your rig is less likely to draw attention (unless you're in a restricted area) out there than when parked on a residential street. City camping is usually done in vehicles that tend to blend into urban surroundings. There is some grey area between the two, but not too much.

If traveling, one of the best spots is the local Walmart. They are like the graveyard... They'll take anything...At least (most of the time depending on local ordinances) you can camp there for free with some degree of safety. I like them and casinos more and more with each visit.

There are plenty of musicians and artists in this group so you are among friends. I envy anyone (most of the rest of the world) who can paint or sketch better than me. I can't even draw a bath...

Have a fun day!

VT
