My second home is a 4.6 liter Ford Club Wagon, 21 years old. Long drive test was okay although some issues needs to be addressed like outside door handle of side and back door and speedometer is not working. According to previous owner the van ran about 20K Km but the speedometer stucked up on 12K.

My test drive is good. I drove more or less 540 Km to mountain province I dont experience any problem at all.

Reality after my test drive, I managed to remove the 2 captain's chair and the two bench seat, however I cannot remove the metal base because there is something like star-bolt and I dont have the tools.

Black curtains is in place using plastic hook. Curtain separating driver and cabin is also installed.

I bought 4 plastic crate and put on top the plywood which holds my sofa bed. Last night is my first sleep on American van using my chargeable fan.

I will work on it after my work today.

Good day to all of you.

P.S.

Appreciate very much to correct my English/grammar, my second language. :(

the bolts are called Torx fasteners. the sockets that fit them are readily available at least here. nice van. keep us updated. highdesertranger

What is the size of that socket? I am going to buy one.

My build is tolled by that particular screw, I need to remove the carpet in order to see the flooring if there is rust.

But still, I am very happy because the van serves my purpose, sleeping.

I am now reading a lot of articles in this forum while saving money for solar stuff.

just a piece of advice, keep your heavyest stuff foreward of the rear axle, you got a lot of real-estate hanging outback. the laws of physics change for no man.

another piece of advice, if you can't afford an air/elect impact gun, you can get an impact driver for about $10/15.00 can be useful for breaking things loose.

I would get a set. one like this should do it. get a quality set the set in the link below is suspect, the seat belt bolts are extremely tight.

my guess is the seat belt bolts are in the 50-60 range. highdesertranger
The Torx size is T55. I was able to remove the captain's chair base. Someone is needed in underchassis to hold the nut.
