I'm especially appreciative of all you've given so that I can live how I choose. I think this is a great life choice, after all of you've given, to REALLY, tangibly enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Welcome! This reminds me of how I learned about RVing in the 70s. I was stationed in AK and some of those closer to retirement had the early Winnebagos, the boxy ones, and they were referred to as "lifer mobiles", they had their retirement plans ready and waiting to go. Being able to hold on to a dream can get someone through the worst of the getting there.

Do you have many years left before retirement or are you closer to the dream?

Have you been deployed overseas a lot or have you been stationed around the US enough to scout out some places you want to go when you're on the road?
