Hi,

Name is Scott. 60 yrs young if that matters.

Living in Yakima, WA. Bought a 1964 C30 base chinook with the large straight 6. I meant to get on the road with this so I could be with my sons. Got really sick and sent to my parents 10 yrs ago, so far spent 10 yrs finding a way back (fairly stable now, learning to live beyond my bed again). Thought I solved the problem with the RV. Boy was that wrong, no one would accept my rig and was not ready for boondocking. Love the truck (looks like a gypsy van) but needs too many things done although the running gear seems good at 80 k miles. Engine seems bullet proof. It is now in storage near my sons and I am back at parents... want to try again. On disability at the low end.

So that says something. Determined to live the life, wilderness my lure, always has been and always will be. My sons are getting to where they can take care of themselves. I can make plans somehow.

So want to start getting into this... I have many skills/experiences and want to join with others, I learn best thru others. Wanna connect?

Hello mycotic Scott. Welcome , I think that you will find a lot of help and advice on this forum. They have helped me quite a bit with my beat up motor home. You know, ask in the different threads on the forum and some one will help out. You picked a good place to ask how to get some thing done.
