hey back! I don't live in a van, but am really needing tips on saving money.
A hint I have: I use laundry detergent to wash my hair. I'm allergic to scents so I buy the clear on sale and put in a bottle. Using it for years and works great!

psychiccassandra, a good way to save money is fold it once, fold it twice stick it in your wallet and sit on it.
I did that once and saved enough to buy a not very old pickup. You may be surprised how flat and tight that green paper packs.
I would put $5 in my wallet and when I had a chance I would put in another $5. Only I would take the 2 $5s and put in a $10, then as I progressed I'd take 2 $10s and put a $20 in, then from 5 $20s I would put a $100 bill in.
Hey, it worked for me.
